Kathryn Fletcher Henley

Kathryn Henley is the owner. She received her Bachelor’s of Science as well as her Master’s of Arts in Biology from the University of North Florida. In her studies, her degree focused on Molecular/Cell Biology and Biotechnology. While at UNF Kathryn performed intense research on the mouse retina.
Kathryn taught as a graduate teaching assistant while completing her masters degree. She was nominated for Outstanding Undergraduate Educator during her time there. During and after earning her Masters, she began teaching lecture and laboratory courses at nursing colleges in the Jacksonville area. As a formal instructor, she has taught everything from General Biology to Anatomy and Physiology to Microbiology, and much more. While there she received the Faculty of the Year award for the State of Florida from FAPSC. Kathryn has been tutoring since High School and has a plethora of experience to offer in all subjects.
Kathryn is a highly motivated, intelligent, and caring individual which has garnered her the following accolades:
-Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award 2010-2011
- Making a Difference award- Fortis College- 2016
-Teacher of year for the State of Florida from FAPSC- 2016
Amy Pahota
Amy Pahota is our office manager. She handles the scheduling, billing, and everyday operations.
She got her AA from Florida State College of Jacksonville. She has known Kathryn for 20 years and is excited to be a part of a company that focuses on individual educational development.
She and her husband, Ryan, are the proud parents of their children, Luke and Naomi. She spends her time between family, church, friends, and chasing their Sulcata tortoise and 2 dogs.

Patty Ganzelli
Areas of concentration: English, Language Arts, Creative Writing, Essay Writing, Spanish

Patty graduated from the University of North Florida in 2013 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and Spanish. She has been tutoring in these subjects for more than 10 years and is excited to continue helping students learn in ways that are personalized to their unique learning style. In addition to her experience in the nonprofit industry, Patty has worked in the Duval County School System as a high school English Honors and Pre-AICE English teacher as well as a Standardized Testing Coordinator.

Patty was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but has been living in Jacksonville most of her life. In her free time, she loves to watch movies, paint, read, play board games, and play with her orange cat, Dipper.

Artina Coma

Areas of concentration: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, English, German, SAT/ACT prep.

Artina is a Connecticut native and earned her bachelors at Southern Connecticut State University. After graduating, she has been in public education serving many roles. After being a paraprofessional and teaching assistant for 8 years, she received her Masters in Ed in School Counseling at Univeristy of North Florida. She has enjoyed her time as a school counselor but misses being in the classroom.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking on the beach at sunrise, playing ultimate frisbee, and is an avid soccer fan.

Maissa Trabilsy
Areas of concentration: Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, K-5 Math, Algebra 1 and 2, English, Creative Writing.

Maissa graduated from Hunter College in NYC with a bachelor's degrees in psychology, with minors in religion and sociology. She then went on to teach middle school math in Brooklyn, NY while obtaining her Master of Arts degree in English Education, Grades 9-12, and Advanced Certificate of Teaching from New York University. Maissa has always been a student who excelled, earning Dean's List and honors throughout her school career. She enjoys teaching and tutoring and is especially interested in giving back to her
community. She has been teaching and tutoring for about 10 years now. She is currently obtaining her MD/MPH from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in NY and wants to undertake this worthy cause of helping students in the meantime.

Chelsea Hall

Chelsea has her Bachelor’s in Science in Political Science and Sociology from Florida State University (Tallahassee) and am Master’s in Business Administration with specialization in management from St. Thomas University (Miami). She has been an educator for 10 years teaching all core subjects (reading, language arts, math,science, social studies , writing, literature). Outside of teaching she has been tutoring for several years. Her passion is teaching and encouraging students through engaging hands-on activities that spark their love for lifetime learning. She loves learning, traveling, reading, and making memories with her daughter and dog. She looks forward to being your teammate in ensuring your child's educational success.
Emily Smith
Areas of concentration: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, English, Creative Writing, SAT/ACT Prep.

Emily is currently a substitute teacher in Duval County. She has over 5 years of teaching experience in K-12 and is very familiar with the current curriculum. She is an aunt to an army of kiddos and has always enjoyed helping them with homework.
Her grandpa used to ask "if I told you to go to New York, how would you get there?" you could answer a bus, a train, a car, a plane, you could walk, you could even do a combination. He explained that it doesn't matter HOW you get there, what matters is that you get there! She takes that same philosophy when it comes to learning. Everyone has their own style and different things click for different learners. She is very patient and more than happy to accommodate the student's needs, what works best for them and to help them be successful in their academic goals. Her favorite subjects are maths and sciences, but is proficient in most everything.
She hopes to help you through your academic journey and look forward to working with you soon!

Jordan Graham

Jordan was born in Jacksonville FL but grew up in South Africa, where his parents run a children's home. He received his AA and is pursuing his BS in Mechanical Engineering at UNF. At UNF and at JU, where he participated in Navy ROTC, he won recognition for academic excellence by making the Dean's list several semesters in a row, and for overall excellence by receiving the ROTC Award of Merit.
Jordan is energetic and ready to inspire a new generation of students to pursue greatness. Being a musician, he has a creative outlook on life and an eagerness to change how young students see not only homework problems but also life and its problems with enthusiasm. He has tutored many types of students and loves learning to adapt to their needs.

Adham Elfeky

Adham is originally from Egypt and has lived in Jacksonville for 8 years. He attended the University of North Florida and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. He is bilingual in English and Arabic.
He works in an Organics lab during the day and enjoys tutoring after hours. He has been tutoring for about 5 years and has found that teaching is the best way to learn. He's found joy in aiding in a persons academic progression.
In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, as well as basketball, and learning how to cook and bake new recipes.

Jorge Guevara

Jorge received his Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration. He has been tutoring for
​over 20 years, helping students in Math and Spanish.
As a native Spanish speaker, he is especially prepared to guide students in ESL, as well as writing and speaking in Spanish.​
He spends his spare time with his wife and children, playing guitar, and DIY projects.
He loves helping students turn struggles into smiles, gain confidence, and encouraging learning.

Anie Estrada

Anfisa is a dedicated and passionate multilingual educator with several degrees in various disciplines and 12 years of experience in tutoring, teaching and instructing. She is committed to creative and innovative teaching strategies to suit different learners, contexts, and educational goals. She has guided over thousands of students and learners toward gaining proficiency in different languages and helped students to develop analytical skills that come into play in textual analysis. Anfisa implements diverse approaches to ensure fast acquisition of knowledge in different academic areas such as history, literature and languages.
Her hobbies and interests include comparative linguistics, translation, cultural analysis, comparative literary analysis, philosophy, nutrition, and travelling.

Sherry Keisling

Areas of concentration: English, Literature, Creative Writing, Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, Art and Art History, US, European, and World History, Algebra 1 and 2, Physics 1, Statistics, SAT/ACT Prep.
As a Jacksonville native, Sherry graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a minor in Creative Writing. Currently, she works as a Legal Assistant at a Personal Injury Law Firm, where she is dedicated to helping others in whatever way she can. Her patience, gentle persistence, and a willingness to work with and understand those around her are among her biggest strengths.
Coming from a family of long-time teachers herself, Sherry has always been passionate about teaching, especially when it comes to English and the humanities. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, reading, writing, and playing video games.
CJ Woods
Areas of concentration: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry Physics 1, Calculus 1.

C.J. was born in Jacksonville but currently lives in Gainesville while he's continuing my education. He graduated from Santa Fe College with an Associate of Arts in physics and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in physics and a Masters degree in Material Science at the University of Florida with plans to attend law school.
CJ has always enjoyed helping both classmates and students develop methods for solving problems; particularly, methods that encourage a holistic and conceptual understanding of the situation that do not require hours of memorization. Rather than answering questions with “that’s just how it works,” he hopes to encourage curiosity and cultivate a true love for learning.
Outside of education and tutoring, he enjoys volunteering and participating in local events. In his free time he likes to spend time with family, read books, watch tv, and take trips to the park or beach with his dog.

LaToya Williams

Areas of concentration: Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English, Reading Comprehension.

LaToya is a native of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Polymer & Textile Chemistry from Clemson University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration. LaToya is a former 8th grade science teacher and is currently an English Teacher.

In her spare time; she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and running 5ks across the country.
Steve Ruddell
Areas of concentration: Elementry and Middle School Math, Algebra 1, Spanish.

​Stephen Ruddell-Lopez is a highly accomplished business professional, fully bilingual in English and Spanish; who has lived, studied and worked in over 8 countries. He has a diverse educational background and extensive experience in International Business Development, Entrepreneurship, and Teaching. He holds a Business Administration & International Relations degree from Lake Forest College, IL, an MBA from IE University in Madrid-Spain, an MS from the University of Chile and currently working on his MPA at UNF.

Sabrina Ruiz

Areas of concentration: Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology, Biolgy, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemistry 2, Spanish.

Sabrina was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Tampa, Florida at age 13. Her interest in medicine began in high school through AP Psychology, inspiring her to pursue both Biomedical Sciences and Psychology degrees at USF—Go Bulls! She began medical school in Alabama and is now completing her clinical rotations in Jacksonville.
Passionate about education and mentorship, Sabrina strives to create supportive environments where students can tackle challenges and grow. Her medical interests span Psychiatry, Anesthesia, and Emergency Medicine.
At home, she enjoys spending time with her three dogs—two Bichon Frises and a mini Golden Doodle—and hopes to inspire her younger sister to follow her own path. Outside medicine, Sabrina loves learning new languages, experimenting with recipes, and watching reality TV

Nia Gladden

Nia is a Georgia native and recently graduated with Highest Honors on her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Nia is passionate about connecting people with science and the natural world through education. She currently works at the Nassau Humane Society as an Animal Care Technician, where she is committed to providing the best quality of life possible for the animals while connecting them to their forever homes. She hopes to one day pursue a Master’s in Science Education. Nia is a very compassionate and patient person who is always looking for ways to help the community.
Coming from a family of teachers and educators, she believes that the key to success in life is education and seeks to make sure that every student she tutors is able to secure their education by improving their understanding and confidence to solve problems independently.
In her free time, Nia enjoys hiking, playing piano, reading, and spending time with her cats.
